Description
This programme offers you an introduction to teaching and provides you with valuable teaching experience. If you complete it successfully you will get an introductory teaching qualification. This programme could be for you if your aim is to teach in the Adult Learning sector (for example, for a Community Learning and Skills provider, a college of FE, a voluntary organisation).
The programme has been carefully designed to incorporate a valuable combination of qualifications and teaching experience. Your time will be taken up between learning through a teaching placement, which we will provide, and through, for example, workshops and tutorials. You will work towards the following awards that all offer essential underpinning knowledge for aspiring teachers/tutors:
